[DW] Mozambican forces claim to have retaken the ransacked town of Palma from armed Islamist fighters. Despite this success, a glaring refugee crisis looms as regional bodies dither on providing military support.

... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
TVM that a "significant" number of bandidos bully boyz had since been killed in the fighting and that the area was now "safe." He, however, stopped short of declaring that the army had regained complete control.
