Romney Wins 'JFK Profile In Courage Award' For Voting To Impeach Trump
2021-03-28
[DAILYWIRE] Sen. Willard Mitt Romney, aka Pierre Delecto
...former governor of Massachussetts, the Publican nominee for president in 2012, now Senator from Utah. He is the son of the former governor of Michigan, George Romney, who himself ran for president after saving American Motors from failure, though not permanently. Romney has a record as a successful businessman, heading Bain Capital, and he rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from the midst of bribery and mismanagement scandals. He is currently a trans Republican and a member in good standing of the Never Trump Party, attempting to assume the mantle of the late John McCain...
(R-UT) was chosen to receive the 2021 John F. Kennedy Presidential Library’s Profile in Courage Award for having been the only Republican to vote in favor of convicting former President Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons......
during his first impeachment trial.

"The 2021 Profile in Courage Award goes to Senator Mitt Romney for his vote to convict President Donald J. Trump in 2020, and his consistent and courageous defense of democracy," the JFK Library said. "As the first Senator to have ever voted to convict a President of his own party, Senator Romney’s courageous stand was historic. Despite facing unrelenting criticism and public antagonism following this vote, along with threats to his physical safety and demands that he be censured or expelled from the Republican party, Romney has continued to courageously defend the fundamental principles of democratic governance."

"Senator Romney’s commitment to our Constitution makes him a worthy successor to the Senators who inspired my father to write Profiles in Courage," said former Ambassador Caroline Kennedy. "He reminds us that our Democracy depends on the courage, conscience and character of our elected officials."

#12  The movie PT 109 was a propaganda piece to get John elected. Who know what really happened?

#11  PT 109 is one of the only (if not THE only) modern warships sunk by ramming.
Yes, JFK saved his crew. His father made his heroics a big deal. His brother Joseph Kennedy was supposed to be president, but he died when his plane blew up.

#10  Wasn't JFK in command of a super-nimble PT boat that somehow managed to get t-boned by a far less maneuverable Japanese destroyer? Yes he kept his crew alive in the aftermath but it shouldn't have happened and he should have been tried for incompetance.

They must have been desperate for heroes and he road the wave.

#9  That slob should have received the John McCain Profile in _________ (fill in the blank) Award.

I hear it is in the shape of a ten inch blade mountable in the appropriate back.

#6  I saw Meggy Moo whining about her mental depression from mean people saying she wouldn't be anything - but a fat mom - without the help her Dad's name gave her. The truth hurts

#3  A Profile in Courage is not what I think of when thinking of Mittens (which I seldom do). Maybe the Darwin Award is more appropriate.

Lack of oxygen to the brain, carbon dioxide poisoning, and you win an award, clever.

#1  As a stockholder in Western Digital which was sandbagged by Romney's Bain Capital - my wish for him is many millennia, upon his exit from this plain of existance, in the 9th circle of Hell.
