The man who in three previous elections fought off a centrist alliance led by former IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz and hung on to power by his fingernails, it will be breathlessly noted, this time managed to defeat an array of anti-Bibi forces including two potent rivals from his own right-wing side of the political spectrum. |

| #7 the charges against Netanyahu are real. the amount of funds involved, however, is pretty small by US standards, e.g. receiving cigars and champagne over 20 years from a friend without reporting it, inappropriate discussions of tax breaks with potential beneficiaries and similar stuff |

| #1 Israeli "centrists" are EUropeans. Israeli left are ANTIFA without the balls to riot. The ultra-Orthodox are a problem - but, maybe, a self-defeating one (there is a limit to how parasites Israelis are willing to support) The court case against Netanyahu has the same validity as ICC case against Israel (produced by the same kind of people). The Supreme court been legislating like crazy in the last decades. F*ck them all! |
