Human Rights Organisation: Erdogan & Al Sarraj Complicit in War Crimes in Libya |

[LIBYAREVIEW] Head of the Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR) in Libya, Abdel Moneim al-Hurr stated that, "No one doubts the involvement of ![]() in war crimes, and the commission of crimes against humanity in Libya." In an interview with al-Arabiya al-Hadath channel, al-Hurr stressed the need to resort to international courts, such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) due to the inability of the Libyan judiciary to try those accused. He added that the charges include war crimes and crimes against humanity. The AOHR Head pointed out that a case was recently filed to the ICC, and may need to be examined by the prosecutor’s office and then by the executive room, which might take months or years. He pointed out that there are numerous crimes committed by foreign mercenaries who entered Libya’s conflict. He explained that the ICC public prosecutor must investigate such cases and send a fact-finding mission to Libya. He said that after that the file should be "referred to the executive department that examines the gravity of these violations and if it falls within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court."
