In PD3 of Kabul, button men attacked and maimed Rasoul Khan, a security official in the city, and the assailants escaped the scene.
"They (attackers) were riding in a Hilux car, there were two gunnies inside, they fired at his head, the people tried to detain them but the attackers took the car and flew," said Lima, an eyewitness.

In a separate incident, gunnies attacked a student Nadim who also works as a street vendor to help his family.
The Kabul police department said that it has arrested 17 suspects who are involved in a criminal act, including a member of the Taliban who had a role in anti-security activities in Paghman.
This comes two days after five civilians, including four women — one of them pregnant — and a child, were killed in a kaboom in downtown Kabul that targeted a bus carrying low-ranking employees of two government ministries.
