| Cleric ‘murdered’ in Kabul city |

| [KhaamaPress] The former head of Ulema Council of Kunduz province, Faiz Mohammad Fayez was sprayed with bullets by unknown gunnies in PD17 of Kabul city. Now he is "dead" Fayez was murdered on Wednesday morning while he walked his way to attend early morning prayers in a mosque. Residents of Kabul’s Sarkutal Golden township said that the former Ulema council chairman was rubbed out by two unidentified button men. Ferdaws Faramaraz, a front man to Kabul police HQ confirmed the murder but did not relate the case to a terrorist act. According to Farmaraz this was a criminal case and has no connection to "terrorist’s" assassinations. An investigation is ongoing to find out more details about the incident. This comes as string of Targeted attacks have raged across Afghanistan. |
