30 Taliban, Including 16 Al-Qaeda Members, Killed in Kapisa: MoD |

[ToloNews] At least 30 Taliban![]() students... , "including 16 al-Qaeda members," were killed and six more were maimed in the Afghan forces operation in the central province of Kapisa on Sunday evening, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement on Monday. The operation was launched in various parts of the Afghania valley in Nijrab district with the support of commandos and the Afghan Air Force, the statement said, adding that "30 Taliban, including 16 Pak national who are members of al-Qaeda were killed." The statement said that the Hajiyan, Khalifagan, Zakirkhel Kochak and Badakhel villages in the valley were cleared of turbans. The statement did not provide further details about the operation. The Taliban so far has not commented on the operation. #1 Not very cost effective. MoD would do better to sponsor bomb-making classes; you can get 30 at a time that way. |
