The Treasury Department said it would block assets and criminalize transactions with the Rapid Intervention Force, which a declassified intelligence report said was answerable to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as former intelligence official Ahmad Hassan Mohammed al-Asiri. Blinken: US to ban visas over dissident threats, bars 76 Saudis [AlAhram] The United States will ban entry of foreigners who threaten dissidents and will immediately restrict 76 Saudis over Jamal Khashoggi's brutal murder, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday. "We have made absolutely clear that extraterritorial threats and assaults by Saudi Arabia against activists, dissidents and journalists must end. Even Carter recognized the importance of fracking (and deserves some credit for the shale revolution). | #5 Expect the Saudis to push up oil prices in response and diversify arms supplies to Russia, China and Europe. Combined with the Biden admin ban on new fracking = $4/gal gas ($5 in Calif) and all the bad fallout from it. |

| #3 Beginning in 1993 Khasshoggi served as an apologist for the Al Qaeda. His interview with Bin Laden left no question as to where his allegiance was when it came to Saudi Arabia. Many observers actually wondered why it took Riyadh so long to kill him. |
