Surgeon Killed in Attack by Unidentified Armed Men in Baghlan |

[ToloNews] Dr. Khalil-ur-Rahman Narmgo, head of the surgery ward of Baghlan-e-Markazi district hospital, in Baghlan province was killed in an attack by unidentified gunnies in the province this evening, sources said. Baghlan police blamed the Taliban ![]() for the attack. The group has not commented on the incident. Sources said Narmgo was a well-known surgeon in the province and was involved in other cultural activities as well. This comes amid an increase in assassinations in Afghanistan. A UN report released on Tuesday shows that 3,035 non-combatants were killed and 5,785 were maimed in Afghanistan in 2020. |
