| [Hot Air] Wednesday the South Carolina House passed a bill intended to ban abortions after the point of development when a fetal heartbeat can be detected. That happens around six weeks, well before most abortions take place. |

| #2 I have no mixed feelings at all. Murdering children WITH a heartbeat is one of the most criminally insane things I can think of. Kudos to our legislature and to Gov. McMaster! Yes, Planned Parenthood sued on schedule...but as others have said, we are about to see just how stern the spine of the Trump Supreme Court is. May Roe vs. Wade join Plessy vs. Ferguson on the scrapheap of history! |

| #1 ...There are mixed feelings about this here in the Palmetto State, especially as the bill is likely to have a lifespan measured in minutes after the courts get hold of it. A great many people quietly support it, but also wonder if this was the best use of the Legislature's time right now. Mike |
