| #17 Had the impeachment began to call witnesses, she could have easily been called to testify. Two of the obvious questions could have been: 1. Speaker Pelosi: Were you informed and did you have knowledge of the possibility of a capital building attack prior to the 6th of Februaray ? 2. Speaker Pelosi: By whom were you informed and what actions did you take ? Obvious points of inquiry anyone might guess, even without a script. Refusing to testify however (for whatever reason) might have been a far more damning signal. Perhaps someone very wisely decided not to go there. |
