Sebastian Gorka: Democrats Working on Amendment for NSA, CIA to Target Americans as Terrorists
2021-02-06
[Breitbart] The Biden administration is working with congressional committees to allow intelligence agencies to "target" American citizens as terrorists, Sebastian Gorka, host of the America First radio show, warned on Thursday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Gorka stated, "I was informed yesterday by a private citizen that the Biden administration — and this comes on top of what Austin is doing with the military — but the Biden administration is working with the Senate and House intelligence committees to make amendments to an executive order from the 1980s — it’s called 12333 — to permit the NSA and the CIA to target U.S. citizens as domestic terror threats."

Executive Order 12333, titled "United States Intelligence Activities," lays out parameters for government surveillance of both U.S. citizens and aliens at home and abroad.

#14  #13 This last election makes one wonder whether one's vote is sacrosanct and if many of these DS officeholders were honestly elected doesn't it?

#13  Man is not made for the State but the State for man and it derives its just powers only from the consent of the governed.

Meanwhile, the Romneys, McConnells, Pelosis, deBlasios, Feinsteins, Murkowskis, Schumers, Bidens, Waters', ad nauseam, just keep getting re-elected. Now why is that?

#12  The Trump phenomena is not going to go away.  With the horrible policies of the left, the ranks of the "Army of David's" are going to grow.

#11  Ya know, I'm sick of the "it's over, we lost" BS. If you think it's over, leave or join the other side.

As for me:

1) you can't enslave a free man
2) where there's life, there's hope
3) I aim to misbehave

#10  The process is already started, Boss Shavirt4587. It turns oout America really is an Army of Davids.

Project Veritas is one of many groups already doing investigations and journalism. Michael Yon, Andy Ngo...y’all know even more names. They all take donations and some sell subscriptions. So that side of things is covered.

Parler, MeWe, CloutHub, and a surprising number of others are investing in infrastructure as well as creating new social media sites.

There are websites building lists of conservative businesses and services so those who choose can more easily direct their spending toward mutual support of those the Left is trying to purge from the national economy altogether.

It’s not as easy as despair, but none of this is “last full measure of devotion” hard.

#9  It will be the bloody path. There is no time to implement the things you suggest. And, I doubt those currently in power would allow it.

#8  Are we headed down this path?

Without question -- unless the citizens fight back. It will take 2-3 years, but citizens need to persuade wealthy conservatives to fund the creation of an alternative network of technology providers: ISPs, server farms & cloud providers, security vendors, social media sites.

Plus the full panoply of political activists: full-time organizers, local party organizers who identify talent and recruit candidates for office, maintain voter databases and get them to the polls, election monitors.

Plus serious and professional full-time investigative journalists, as well as serious, experienced litigators.

If the above institutional levers are not developed, and fast, then the only options are either the road to serfdom or the bloody path. No use pretending we'll muddle through and come out ok.

#7  /\ You nailed it Abu. Think about the unsightly documents trail and attorney fees. The systematic slaughter of the unborn and newly born was legalized. How difficult could this possibly be ?

#6  Going through FISA, FBI and GCHQ was much too cumbersome.
Posted by: Abu Uluque   2021-02-06 11:49

#5  This is in order to sidestep the FISA court. The court is basically designed to decide what gets "unmasked" - these "amendments" are the end around.

#4  We are becoming the "Surveilled Society." In a free society, this becomes governmental over-reach and perversion. For what purpose? Manipulation, control and to instill fear of the government in its people. Over the years, our 4th Amendment has been trashed. The NKVD, Stasi, and Gestapo have used these intrusive totalitarian surveillance methods. Are we headed down this path?

#3  I don't believe they are really thinking "you get more of what you subsidize" through to its ultimate conclusion...
