#25 Its pretty simple: get one of those former deep sea oil rigs he is refitting, load the rockets on it, take it out to the Gulf in international waters, and flip a great big bird to the FAA. Push him hard enough and he can offshore the whole thing to a private islend if he wants to. The whole thing in Boc Chica is pretty "rough field" setup on-purposed, to help work toward assembly in a non-industrial area, like Mars. |

#20 Next thing you know, Musk will move to Russia. |

#19 They've also started assembling BN-1, the first model of the Super Heavy booster. |

#18 SN-11 being stacked. So by Monday 3 rockets might be ready to test. Does FAA still approve Boeing 737X? |

#17 SN-10 being readied to be moved to launch platform (A) so SpaceX will have 2 StarShips on launch pads. |

#16 No launch today. They're letting people back into Boca Chica. No flight restrictions scheduled for the future, either. |

#15 Despite the FAA announcement, SpaceX is still preparing for test. They've released SN9's fins from tie-down and Boca Chica village is being evacuated. (Evacuating the village is standard procedure for a launch. There are only a handful of people who declined to move out.) |

#14 FAA SOBs have ALREADY posted "SpaceX launch activities cancelled for the day" on their current activities feed. The flight restrictions are still in place (for the moment). |

#13 Ahh right 3dc, I got a bit confused here. Thinking may be retaliation for Musk speaking out against big tech censorship. |

#12 And SpaceX hasn't just put rockets into orbit, they've man-rated a booster and capsule and returned American manner launched to the U.S. from Russia. |

#11 BTW Bezo's Blue Origin is older than SpaceX and still has not put a rocket into orbit. |

#10 Musk never had platforming services. You are confusing him with Bezos of Amazon, WaPo and Blue Origin fame. |
Posted by: 3dc 2021-01-29 06:44 |
#9 This have anything to do with musk de-platforming Parler? The FAA does tend to be a bit conservation. |

#7 FAA Bureaucrats tweet out more BS. A full court press in all directions by Biden Admin on Musk oh and they don't like the new finance round at SpaceX. "@elonmusk ’s rocket company @SpaceX could be valued at a minimum of $60bn as it finalizes a funding round expected to close in February, Business Insider reported on Thursday, citing three people familiar with the matter." Size of placement unknown yet. |
