Foreign National Pleads Guilty To Stealing US Government Records To Launder ‘Fraudulent' Citizenship Applications
2021-01-27
[The National Pulse] Haitham Isa Saado Sad, a former employee of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in Jordan, plead guilty to “several charges related to his role in a scheme to steal U.S. government records and defraud U.S. refugee programs.”
Are any of his clients jihadis or jihad-adjacent? What about criminal gang members or connected to gangsters? That would make it War on Terror, even if his own interest was merely pecuniary.
Sad – one of three defendants in a January 22nd indictment –plead guilty to the Department of Justice charging him with “conspiracy to steal records and defraud the United States, conspiracy to launder money, and computer fraud and abuse before U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras of the District of Columbia.”

“The indictment charges Sad and two other foreign nationals, Aws Muwafaq Abduljabbar, 42, and Olesya Leonidovna Krasilova, 43,” with the crimes listed above, all of which “relate to the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) and, in particular, the Iraq P-2 program, which allows certain Iraqis to apply directly for refugee resettlement in the United States.”

The Department of Justice notes how the defendants were former employees of Jordanian and Russian branches of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and stole “records and information” from the agency to “assist applicants in gaining admission to the United States through fraudulent means”:
Update at 5:45 p.m. ET from Russian news agency Tass, which describes them as:
Russian citizen Olesya Krasilova (43), Iraqi citizen Aws Muwafaq Abduljabbar (42), who resides in Jordan, and Jordanian citizen Haitham Isa Saado Sad (42).
One is a corrupt Iraqi? What odds absolutely no ISIS members, Iranian sock puppets, or former Baathists were made privy to the information in their files between 2016 and 2019? Page 1: WoT it is. Hopefully, part of the plea bargain is a full list of those granted entry by these mokes.
On February 14, 2020, Olesya Krasilova, then employee of an organization subordinate to the Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor, was detained in Spain, where she was on a short-term business trip as part of an official delegation. The lawyers of the Russian woman managed to prove that the ongoing process of her extradition was illegal. After that Krasilova returned to Moscow.
