Rubio blasts Trump impeachment trial as 'stupid'

...The diminutive 13-year-old Republican U.S. Senator from Florida...
summed up the coming impeachment trial against former President Trump in the Senate as "stupid" and said he would vote to end it at the first opportunity.

"I think the trial is stupid," the Florida Republican said on "Fox News Sunday."

"We already have a flaming fire in this country," he said, adding that trying Trump would douse it with a "bunch of gasoline."

"The first chance I get to vote to end this trial I’ll do it," he said.

The House, which passed a single article of impeachment against Trump for "incitement of an insurrection" on Jan. 13, is expected to deliver the article of impeachment to the Senate Monday evening.

#5 I was flipping channels a few nights ago and one of the movers and shakers from Reagan's time was on. He said that back then %90 of the Senators were alcoholics and that it was worse now!

Ponder that then look at any issue with an alcoholic haze.

*No due process.
*No free speech.
*A hurried lynching in the House.
*Dems have said things far worse (Pelosi, Schiff, Waters, Swallwell, Bernie (whose supporter shot up Pub ballplayers), etc.).
*One could say that such frivolous impeachments are themselves inciting.

This is strictly a vindictive tantrum by the Speaker. She is way past nuts.

Trump was a threat to the power structure and he was gaining power all the time.

Why cannot one not question election fraud? Why have we not had a good airing-out of the fraud issue? Everyone should want fraud-free elections. Does anyone really think Biden won the election?
