| [KhaamaPress] Local officials confirmed to media, that Twin blasts rattle Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province on Wednesday. According to a statement, the initial blast happened at around 3 pm, when a vehicle hit a roadside kaboom in the Sherzad district. In the incident, two Afghan non-combatants were killed and further four people were maimed. 30 minutes after the first blast another vehicle carrying civilians hit an IED in the Khogyani district of Nangarhar province. At least two non-combatants were killed and three more were maimed in the incident, officials to media.
