| Police killed in A Clash with Public Uprising Forces, Faryab Province |

| [KhaamaPress] Local officials in Faryab province say a policeman was killed in a clash between police and the public uprising members. Abdul Karim Yuresh, a front man to Faryab police HQ, said that the clash took place on Saturday, in the center of the Qaisar district of the province. Yuresh added that a policeman was killed as a result of the festivities in the Qaisar district of the province. He said a public uprising force member was also maimed during the skirmish. The public uprising units, also known as the local police, has been able to provide security in parts of Afghanistan, but recently, there have been many complaints against these forces. |
