Supposedly, however, Plugs actually stated the condition for his "doomed" comment but that condition was dropped from this edited version: "If we don't make progress on racial equity" [then] "this country is doomed."
Still it's patronizing as hell to speak to Americans as members of racial blocs. And even if you were to try to divide Americans by race, it's utterly stupid to pretend that Hispanics in this country consider their own racual identity to be anything other than White. |
