Officials Torch 510kgs Hashish in Logar |

[KhaamaPress] Counter Narcotic Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) has torched some 500 kilograms of drugs after discovering them during an operation in Agha district of Pashtun-infested Logar province, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs on Thursday. "Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police launched a special operation in Mohammad Agha district of Pashtun-infested Logar province," said the MoIA in a tweet. Officials did not provide further details on whether or not any suspect has been comprehended, but said the special unit has seized at least 510 kilograms of hashish before burning them to ashes. "As a result, 510kg of hashish seized and torched in the area," the tweet added. On Sunday, the Counter Narcotic Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) in a joint operation with Afghan Air Forces (AAF) seized at least 8,000 kilograms of drugs in Dara-e-Ghoran of Khoshi district in the province. The narcotic drugs were all torched after discovering it during the operation.
