Lots of sausage-making and poll statistics, at the end of which we must conclude that Bibi Netanyahu and Likud will be the winners for the fourth time ... assuming the Knesset actually votes to go ahead with the wasteful exercise. But whatever happens, the Left will be even farther out of power than ever.

A Panels Research poll taken on Wednesday and Thursday for The Jerusalem Post and Maariv found that if elections would be held now, Netanyahu's Likud would easily win the most seats, due in part to the split among his competition.
Day one of the 2021 election on Thursday featured infighting in the Center-Left camp that could make it even more difficult than expected to defeat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu whenever Israelis end up going to the polls.

Unlike bread, where half an imaginary loaf is totally better than no loaf at all.

Lots of inside baseball, but it sounds like Netanyahu's opponents hate each other even more than than they hate him. Gosh, that sounds familiar!
