, at least 11 Taliban killed and further six maimed during an operation carried by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Pashton Zarghon district of the province Sunday.
"11 Taliban were killed and 6 others were maimed after they attacked #ANDSF positions in Pashton Zarghon district of Herat province, yesterday," said MoD in a tweet.
Officials did not provide further details but said, "a large amount of their weapons and ammunitions were destroyed."
