Trump Fires Mark Esper as Defense Secretary
2020-11-10
[NYTIMES] President Trump on Monday fired Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper, the latest casualty in the president’s revolving door of top national security officials who fell on the wrong side of their boss.Mr. Trump announced the decision on Twitter, writing in an abrupt post that Mr. Esper had been "terminated."

The president wrote that he was appointing Christopher C. Miller, whom he described as the "highly respected" director of the National Counterterrorism Center, to be acting defense secretary. Mr. Miller will be the fourth official to lead the Pentagon under Mr. Trump.

The president noted that Mr. Miller had already been approved by the Senate for his current position, perhaps as a way to argue that the firing of a defense secretary should not be viewed as a sign of turmoil in the highest ranks of the nation’s national security structure.

Mr. Esper’s departure means that Mr. Miller would — if he lasts — see out the end of the Trump administration at the Pentagon. While Mr. Trump has over two months left in office, it could still be a significant time, as Defense Department officials have privately expressed worries that the president might initiate operations, whether overt or secret, against Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
or other adversaries in his waning days in office.

#12  ^ there's a realignment in the making.

Dems are now the party of the oligarchs, left-wing proles, identity-politics grifters and their self-hating white dupes.

Trump's party appeals to millions of ordinary, apolitical, patriotic Americans including millions of blacks and Hispanics who want what most Americans have always wanted: ordered freedom and the chance to stand and compete fairly in their own two feet.

Not sure which is the majority but the old coalitions have been smashed.

#11  Reasonable-minded good people on the “Left” and the “Right” share the same common enemy:

dark elitist *would-be* platonic philosopher kings with voracious avarice in their cold hearts, and lacking in any basic human empathy or even shreds of decency.

#10  Dear Ebbomoger Speaking,

Re: “Interesting how Barr finally decided to swing into action after Trump fired these other department heads.

Word on the street is that:

Barr wanted to greenlight federal prosecutors to take overt steps in election cases weeks ago, before the election. Political leadership in the Criminal Division pushed back, and thought they had won. Then Barr issued his memo Monday, blindsiding them.

This is not the USA’s first rodeo. It’s not the first time, either, that globalist elites encountered a tough fight from Americans, who they have never forgiven for exercising and protecting their G_d-given liberty against tyranny.

It may win the Benedict Arnold contest, though.

For a couple hundred years globalist elitists just haven’t known what to do with us. Never have, never will. The wind blows where it likes.

“I have not yet begun to fight.” — John Paul Jones (1779).

I expect we’ve long had a dedicated SCIF

pursuant to FISA warrant (no doubt)

& no leaks, anywhere.

We didn’t ignore Hunter’s laptop, did we?

The Quisling-Libs (note: not all Libs are quislings) should be terrified. Very terrified.

Both the Quisling-Libs and the globalist elitists misgauged the pulse of the PEOPLE. It’s a big mistake to overlook our rage and indomitable spirit. Unlike Japan, these arrogant fools have not just awakened a sleeping giant; they’ve woken a very wise Sleeping Monster — who is VERY ANGRY.

And, they’ll whine when there’s hell to pay.
