NC Republican who vacationed at Hitler's retreat wins congressional race
2020-11-05
[JPost] - Madison Cawthorn, the 25-year-old Republican in western North Carolina who posted selfies from a vacation at Hitler’s retreat in Germany, is headed to Congress.

...During that vacation, Cawthorn posted on Instagram that visiting Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest retreat was on his "bucket list." In captions, he called Hitler "Fuhrer," a term of reverence, and said the experience "did not disappoint."
The reason 70% American Jews vote Democrat is ... (and yes, I know that he's an exception - not the rule. And black activists are a lot more dangerous to Jews). Nevertheless ...

#5  These guys vacationed there. I don't see any problem with getting a pic there as well.

#4  Okay, read article. Cawthorn may or may not like sniffing lederhosen, but the author's definitely a liar.

His beer hall the bar at the Statler,
He clings to his money,
Guns, Hakenkreuz, Honey.

#2  /\ Exactly. The kid is 25 years old. So effing what? But it does appear (if I believe the article (despite the misleading headline) the kid has some issues.

The headline is misleading. As far as I know, one does not "vacation" at the Eagle's Nest (as in, spend some nights there as if it were a hotel). One can eat there, but that's it.

#1  To add some context: it's been a popular restaurant with an excellent view for years now. I wanted to go when I was in Bavaria, but couldn't get up there for various reasons - though the place isn't "Hitler themed" from what I understand.

So maybe cut the kid some slack? The young are often stupid and callous, but generally don't stay that way.
