| #2 Oregon does not have 'stand your ground' by State statute. However, there have been judicial findings that support this. Of course these can be ignored by unsympathetic DAs. |

Def: A stand-your-ground law provides that a person may use deadly force when they reasonably believe it is needed to defend against a threat of death, serious bodily harm, kidnapping, rape, or robbery or some other serious crimes. |
