‘Buyer’s remorse’ in play after ‘can you change your vote’ surges in searched terms |
2020-10-25 |
[SKYNEWS.AU] A wave of voters searched ’can you change your vote’ following the final presidential debate marking the most times its been searched this election campaign, according to Sky News contributor Lauren Southern. The election campaign is hitting its final stretch with less than ten days remaining in the battle for the presidency. Democratic candidate Joe Foreign Policy Whiz KidBiden ...Failed seeker of the Democratic presidential nomination on multiple occasions, vice president under Barack Obama, giving it a last try in his dotage for 2020... still has a significant lead in all national polls and in many key state-wide polls, but the President’s campaign has kicked into gear since recovering from COVID-19. President Donald Trump ...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the Worldin the general election... was considered to have performed much better than in the first debate, showing more restraint than in his previous encounter with Mr Biden. Ms Southern said Pennsylvania - which polls show will go down to the wire - was "one of the top places" where the search term 'can you change your vote' was used. Sky News host Rowan Dean said given many states in the US have begun pre-polling, it looks like Biden voters are getting "buyer’s remorse" after witnessing the debate. |

#13 /\ "Somebody opened my mail-in ballot to see if they agreed with MY votes." A hypothetical but chilling possibility. |

#12 Remember this when it comes time to rework the election rules. Less early voting. Make early voting available no more than 2 weeks in advance of the date of the general. And no vote postmarked before that time, or after the date of the general election, excepting military/overseas, will be accepted. Simple fix. |

#10 Like, for example, a postal workers strike? Great point. Kinda makes you wonder about Trump's recent executive order. |

#9 Another reason for this might be that they're planning some kind of mass shutdown/disruption and need to lock in the Biden votes while preventing Trump votes. Like, for example, a postal workers strike? Funny thing, I seem to recall the postal union coming out in favor of one candidate in particular |

#7 I've been seeing YouTube ads with Biden urging people to cast their ballots as soon as possible. This could be one reason. Another reason for this might be that they're planning some kind of mass shutdown/disruption and need to lock in the Biden votes while preventing Trump votes. |

#4 It's a great story, but how many "Orange Man bad" voters really want a do-over because Sleepy Jue seems to be losing momentum? I have a hard time believing it's a lot. Ditto Trump voters saying "Biden sure sealed the deal in that last debate." That I actually see even less likely. The dems and the left will screech for boo-coo changes again if Joe loses, but one change you won't see, let alone hear they are discussing among themselves is "Maybe we should move more to the center." No, you won't be hearing or seeing that. |

#2 All the more reason to restrict mail-in votes until the week before the election, and limit early voting to 1 day each of the previous 2 weeks prior, including maybe a Saturday. There's a reason they call it Election DAY. Its important to have ALL the info and take some time to think about such an important task. |
