Senate Corners Biden ‐ Demands ‘All Records'
2020-10-24
[National Insiders] Senate investigators have demanded that Hunter Biden turn over a mountain of evidence following bombshell emails and text messages which appear to show he and his business partners engaging in an international influence-peddling scheme while his father was Vice President of the United States, according to CBS News’ Catherine Herridge — who brought receipts as usual.

"According to recent reports that published emails allegedly from your client’s laptop, the Committees have identified your client as an individual involved in one or more of these business arrangements or financial transactions," reads a Wednesday letter from Sens. Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley.
"As part of the ongoing efforts to validate and verify the information in those emails, the Committees request that your client provide all records related to any of your client’s business dealings—including, but not limited, to bank records, wire transfers, account balances, gifts, business transactions, travel records—with Joe Biden, James Biden, Ye Jianming, Chi Ping Patrick Ho, Zang Jian Jun, Gongwen Dong, Mervyn Yan, Gabriel Popoviciu, or any other associates regarding CEFC China Energy Co. Ltd or any other transactions related to business in Romania, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Czech Republic, or any other countries."

Biden’s lawyers have until Friday to comply.

Over the last week, alleged emails, text messages and compromising photographs from Hunter Biden’s laptop and his former business partners reveal that Joe Biden was directly involved in Hunter’s business dealings, and appears to have directly profited from them.

#20  Its not the President who killed America. Its not the Judiciary who killed America. Its not the Congress who killed America. It was the press, all along. Without an informed population of voters, a democracy based Republic cannot function properly.

Hang the press, especially the publishers and editors who deliberately abdicated their duty to honesty and fidelity.

#19  #2 - but it seems undeniable that our republic's on its last legs.

I'm sure it seemed that way in the 60s as well. Once we shake the socialists nonsense out of the system the Republic will do fine.

#18  He'll just continue with the theme that he never had any business dealings with Hunter. Then he might get elected. Then the investigations will evaporate.

They need to ask him things like if anyone ever held his compensation for him, and if he had anything to do with any Chinese companies in any way, shape or form.

#17  Secret Service should be vigilante. Trump IS going after the head of a crime family and syndicate and their international associates.

#15  The wisdom of crowds agrees. 9mm is now going for $1.20/rnd...if you can get it!

Aye, ah'n ye be see'n a wee leprechaun.

The sad story of the other day's customer. Couple months ago, had the opportunity to buy a case of 9mm for $150. Nah, he said, more than what he wanted to pay for what at the time didn't think was needed. You'd think he was telling the story of his dog getting run over.

#14  Not really "viable" if the "new candidate" media organization breaks the biggest political scandal in over half a century and the consequence is that public is allowed to ignore or dismiss it and then reward the central criminal in the scandal with the presidency.

Grampaw Tholump is correct. A tiny dissident press with no influence is no match for Pravda

#13   it's clear that the system of an independent, credible press in America are numbered.

Actually, the system of an independent, credible press is throwing up viable new candidates in all directions these days, from the pioneering WND and Newsmax to the polished output of Epoch Times and the Daily Caller, not that Grampaw Tholump7738‘s acquaintance will be offered a job with one of their organizations. Sadly, the old mainstream media organization he is depending on to provide him a pension as generous as the peak paycheck he’s receiving considerably less than nowadays —in these times of recurring payroll and budget cuts — will no doubt be defunct by the time he needs it. A sad but inevitable reward for replacing loyalty to an ideal with loyalty to a class position.

“People like us don’t think things like that”, donchaknow. It will be interesting to watch them look back on it all, ten or twenty years down the line, and every one of them until now proud of their intelligence and insight.

#12  I am now so old I can remember when the term "The Deep State" was routinely referred to as a conspiracy theory.

#11  Actually a much more effective way is to physically shread the entire hard drive into little granduals.

That is once Hunter remembers which repair shop he left it in - he was pretty coked out...

#10  because then they can not comply, the Senate can shrug their shoulders and say, well, we tried!

#8   request that your client provide

And what if they refuse? A request is optional afterall.

Why was this not a demand or order?

#2  Chatted about the BCF (Biden Crime Family) story with an acquaintance who's a top scribe at one of the (few remaining) prestigious media outlets. He's a nice guy who generally plays it straight.

So I thought he'd be sympathetic, as he has been in the past, to my gentle nudging him and his colleagues to jump on this story and present a more balanced approach than their Trump-loathing peers.

Instead I got a sh!tstorm of snarling, nasty, unhinged denials.

When I noted that his/their refusal to even mention or report on the Bobulinski statement was causing their supporters to turn away from the media in disgust and would eventually lead to their being viewed as Pravda, he sneered: Actually it's the NY Post and Fox News that are acting like Pravda. I'll take my chances that our credibility holds up better than theirs. But thanks for the feedback.

When even the straight shooters abandon all reason and objectivity, it's clear that the system of an independent, credible press in America are numbered.

I've no idea what to do about it, but it seems undeniable that our republic's on its last legs.
