province, killing two people and injuring six others.

A front man for Laghman’s governor, Asadullah Dawlatzai told media, that the blast took place Wednesday morning at the provincial police headquarters, killing eight people.

In an interview with BBC, Nader Nadery Afghan peace negotiator said, "It is unacceptable for our people to be suffering the way they have suffered these past three weeks with increased violence,".

He added, if the bloodshed continues, Afghanistan might have to reassess whether "talking" whilst "fighting" is reasonable or not.

Previously, the governor and the head of the provincial council were also targeted in similar incidents, the governor safely escaped the blast, but the head of the provincial council was killed from attaining heavy injuries.
