| #11 Things like this are also why for my SHTF rifle, I choose the M-1 Garand. Yes, I have others, including a competition AR-15 (Weighs 16.5lbs, worthless for home defense really), an carbine AR-10 and an AR-9, but nothing says one and done like 220 grain core-lokt SP for two legged varmints. Yes my M-1 will cycle them and a few won't kill it. |

| #8 The video embedded in Fred's post shows mostly 2-unit apartments (sometimes known as bi-level duplexes), not really 'stately manors'. They may have 'demonstrated' in somewhat more affluent areas, but they certainly didn't hit the posher places. If they had, the State Police and National Guard would have been there very promptly. Those residents have 'friends', you know. |

| #4 'Tosa folks are pretty divided. Some are VERY liberal (somehow only the very poor or very wealthy) and somewhat greater numbers are quite conservative. We'll see how this plays out in the nice areas. Because the festivities didn't occur in their neighborhood, it probably won't change their minds, though. |
