[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Rihanna has been urged to apologize to 'all Muslims' after using a song featuring sacred Islamic texts as a soundtrack for her latest lingerie show.
A video of the showcase, which saw models dancing around on stage in the singer's provocative Savage x Fenty lingerie, was shared on Amazon Prime last week. But while the risque designs and stunning models certainly earned attention, the online broadcast has sparked fury thanks to the popstar's choice of music.
Fans were left outraged after discovering Rihanna, 32, chose to use the song Doom, by London producer Coucou Chloe, which features a narration of a sacred Hadith.
Why aren’t they going after Mademoiselle Chloe? It’s her song, after all. | In Islam, Hadiths are sacred texts that are believed to have been spoken and actions conducted by the Prophet Muhammad during his lifetime. |
