| #3 Sympathetic population? The Philippine Archipelago has many islands that are culturally distinct, even ethnically separate, think the Balkans on steroids. The Moro Islanders, for example, seem to hate everybody. You might find Vic Hurley's Swish of the Kris(1936)[.pdf] interesting. |
