Anthony David Schethtman was arrested Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro for allegedly selling weapons, explosives and drugs to gangs

The Civil Police said the weapons sold by Schethtman were used in bank robberies in Rio de Janeiro

Schethtman reportedly holds American, British and Israeli citizenship

Schethtman, who was known as 'El Gringo', was driving a stolen vehicle when police stopped him in downtown Rio
