| Mass Gathering at Penumbra Kelly Building, Molotov Cocktail Thrown |

| [PORTLANDOREGON.GOV] In the evening of September 21, 2020, a group gathered at Laurelhurst Park and marched to the Penumbra Kelly building located in the 4700 block of Southeast Burnside Street. The crowd stayed off of the property and near the entrance to the parking lot. Some individuals in the crowd threw various items into the parking lot. One of the items thrown was identified by the Explosive Disposal Unit and Arson Sherlocks as a viable Molotov cocktail. The wick was lit and the device was thrown onto the property. Fortunately, the fire extinguished and no one was injured. The group eventually dispersed on their own. PPB did not engage the group and no arrests were made. |

| #8 I really cannot understand why the people with the molotov's aren't immediately shot. That is a deadly weapon. I have been on fire, it's not an experience I want to repeat and if someone is trying to set me on fire, I will defend myself vigorously. |

Next thing you know the Antifa commandos will be confronted by some version of the Gangster Disciples keeping the peace to keep the sanctioned protection racket going. In ancient Rome they had street gangs who did the same thing, and since they were sanctioned by Pompey and Caesar, everyone just went along and didn’t get in the way. Nothing in power is really new, just dressed up in modern words and technology. |
