| #3 approx 3.5 lira to dollar in 2017 now approx 7.5 lira to dollar however the turkish lira is out performing the Iran Rial |

| #2 The Guinness Book of Records classified the Turkish lira as the world’s third less valued currency from 1995 to 1996, and again from 1999 to 2004. In 2005, after another devaluation of the Turkish lira, the New Turkish lira was issued, which was in circulation until 1 January 2009, when it was again renamed as “Turkish lira”. |
