#1 I suspect he might have had trouble with the physical part of 1970s Marine basic if he had to do it over at 59. Maybe not so much with 2020 Army basic. Do they even do the mental part of basic anymore? For him that would be easy now, but he'd have to cooperate so as not to degrade the process for the kids. Did not realize you could rejoin reserves at that age, regardless (except for specialties like medical.) |
