The article links to the Sydney Crime News Facebook page, where several commenters point out the speaker has a “Lebanese” accent, and to a Daily Mail article, which despite its usual overexcited beginning calmly reports: The driver has since reported the incident to the Anti-Defamation Commission - which said in a statement he would file a complaint with Victoria Police on Wednesday. Apparently hate speech is a crime down there, and of course Uber has identification information for the passenger, as well as a working credit card number. 'The incident was reported to Uber headquarters immediately after the passenger left,' ADC chairman Dvir Abramovich said in a statement....along with a bad passenger warning on his Uber file, no doubt. “Let him use Lyft,“ as Marie Antoinette said. | |
