9 arrested after ‘suspicious vehicles with out-of-state plates' stopped in Kenosha |
2020-08-28 |
[Channel 3000 News] KENOSHA, Wis. — Nine people were arrested Wednesday night in Kenosha following a citizen tip regarding several "suspicious" vehicles with out of state plates meeting in a remote lot in the city. According to our partners at CBS 58 in Milwaukee, officers located and followed a black school bus, bread truck and minivan to a gas station near Washington Road and 30th Avenue, where the occupants of the bus and truck exited and attempted to fill multiple fuel cans. Police believed the occupants were preparing for criminal activity related to the protesting going on in the city. Police arrested the occupants inside the van after the driver tried leaving the area. Police said helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks and suspect controlled substances were found in the vehicles, CBS 58 reports. The nine individuals were arrested for possible disorderly conduct charges. |

#12 I read somewhere—probably Zero Hedge comments—that the controlled substances that team Riot Kitchen were picked up with was meth. It would explain a lot if meth were the main item on the kitchen menu. |

#11 Too bad there was no way to get laxative into their canteen stuff and just quietly park their truck near where they expected it to be with a note saying "Be right back. Help Yourselves." |

#9 'Disorderly Conduct' is the local charge. The Feds may have other ideas. |

#8 charged with disorderly conduct Negotiated in exchange for 'contact list'? |

#7 The vehicle belonged to an Antifa auxillary known as Riot Kitchen based in Seattle. Their stated goal is to provide food to the protesters. Excellent police work by the Feds. The charges however are curious. They crossed state lines to take part in a riot, but were charged with disorderly conduct? BS |

#6 Dunno. Without knives, how can it be a peaceful protest? |

#5 Empty fuel cans, helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks and suspect controlled substances were found in the vehicles Let me guess,"Peaceful protesters who ran out of gas on their way to a peaceful protest? (sarc)" |
