#12  more firebreaks would help but a lot of this is because people have moved into rural areas that are difficult to protect, e.g., the two biggest fires currently are just east of the coastal range

#11  And for the bigger stuff you cannot haul out....We used this one to generate 21 tons of chips an hour for a chip fired heating plant.

#4  California Gov. Urges Residents to Flee....

California's government has been indirectly "urging" residents to leave the state for over a decade. The tragic fires have simply upped the ante.

#2  I'm going to guess that the government in CA didn't learn their lesson about forest fire management measures last time and instead poured that money into illegals. Am I wrong?

#1  I'm currently in Wallbridge Fire Evac Warning Zone. Next 24 hrs are important. Air attack did fantastic work today and may have turned the tie in our area.
