[ZH] Fox News abruptly cut away from Friday's White House press briefing after Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany played a video of the ongoing riots in Portland, Oregon.

"We were not expecting that video," said Fox host Harris Faulkner, adding "Our management here at Fox News has decided we will pull away from that at this time."

#15  To be honest, I get most of my news from Rantburg and Instapundit. I don't watch network news, subscribe to a newspaper, or any magazines.
I believe I am probably better informed overall than much of the American public.

#14  Very true. Since Vietnam I have had a negative opinion of news.I have found a positive blogger that I would suggest you give a visit. I regularly refer people here and more recently to https://www.facebook.com/turleytalks. Dr. Steve Turley very positive and a great speaker.

#13  The drift leftward is obvious and this incident merely pinpointed a moment that makes that drift apparent. My wife just shared a friends Facebook posting that claimed the entire Portland insurrection was only 4 blocks square and peaceful in response to brutal federal law enforcement tactics. The revolutionary minds behind this sedition want to control what the uninformed Americans see through social media and the MSM to frame the idea of peaceful exercise of the first amendment finally being crushed by fascism directed by Trump the evil dictator. The entire election strategy of the democrat party is about voting against Trump and chaos and a return to the soft comfort of peaceful tranquility under Obamaworld part 3. Of course, what follows will be the workers paradise of East Germany.

#10  Fox News is like the Wall Street Journal used to be. Conservative Opinion mixed with liberal news reporting.

#9  Pretty much same here, but I run out of gas once Hannity comes on (and Ingrahm) as it's just the same old stuff. But Tucker is a for-sure.

And, is that all Fox people do is write/promote books? Hannity, Gutfeld...might be one or two more. Come on....

#8  I'll watch Tucker and Hannity, maybe Laura for a little bit, but that's it. What finally sealed it for me is the constant non-stop 24/7 Chink Virus Covid-19 panic pr0n coverage.

#7  Faux news. Thought about 90-95% of it was fake news. About 6 corporations control the MSM as I understand it.

I've been catching Newsmax lately. Pete Hegseth grew up just east of our cabin (Forest Lake). He's on a fraud talk show (1130 am) here about once a week. The screening hostess refuses to take questions to him or Rep Emmer...

Pathetic

#2  That video was industrial strength truth. Saw lady telling cops that she hopes he will die, kids chanting “f- ck the police. It was something that EVERYONE should see. Then the Kaleigh Macanany Video of press conference was shut down by Fox News. It was shocking. WTF?

Any chance they'll explain why?
