#11 Oh, I understand. I shouldn't have said "shoot" (= harpoon) but "shock". So how many shocks in a battery? |

#10 So, how did these deputies managed 53 times? /disclaimer: did not watch the video As I understand, a taser has two modes: one where it fires an electric harpoon trailing wires, and a second one (Drive Mode?) where you use the protruding electrodes to repeatedly deliver a shock directly. |

#6 i cartridge = 1 shot Some of the newer guns (known in the trade as an 'Electronic Control Device') can hold up to three cartridges ready for use, but they're pretty large. Most come with one or two cartridge capability. |

#2 If they used the tasers I have seen issued to our police here in Ga.. They would have had to reload 6x's each? and then 1 extra to boot. |

#1 Seems to me, if you've tased somebody a dozen times to no avail, they are not getting the hint and you might as well just shoot them. Some inappropriate levity |
