#14  Sessions is politically clueless.

#13  I'm sure the dems are choosing a disturbed womyn off their slanderer bench to go to the press with some salacious accusations against Tuberville right now.

#12  /\ Yes, if after many months and years, we are able to discern the corruption from the hinterlands, there really is no excuse for him (other than bovine ignorance or blatant complicity) NOT to see it and raise a flag within the beltway.

'Ignorance and/or complicity.' I suppose there really is no good reason why it could not be a combination of both.

#11  Sessions was totally played by the donks in the Russia hoax. His failure to recognize this and go along with it gave us the 2+ year Mueller kabuki. Good riddance.

#10  Good. Sessions has been a complete failure.

#9  One asks those questions a lot, BP.

Being in government for the upper echelons is apparently very lucrative. One may then also assume that when that money stream is disrupted, the person may do whatever it takes to get that stream back on track.

Money=Power=Money

#8  Now if I had a net worth of $40M, why would I want to continue working? Then again, same with Feinstein, Pelosi, et al. There's gold in them thar hills!

#7  >FBI Director Christopher Wray .... With a net worth in excess of $40m USD

Er how!?!

#6  Looks like Trunks in Alabama recused themselves of the former senator.

#5  campaigning was the most work he's done in years.

now he can go back to sleep and leave us alone.

#4  I disagree that President Trump helped defeat Jeff Sessions. The citizens of Alabama were very disappointed in Mr. Sessions as Attorney General and decided to elect someone new to the game.

#3  This posted link about Session's recusal may shed some light on his recent defeat.

If I were FBI Director Christopher Wray I'd be dusting off my CV in preparation for a possible Orange Man win in November. With a net worth in excess of $40m USD, he won't actually be looking for a job, only a new position of power.

#2  Excellent. Tuberville will oust Jones, flipping 1 seat back to the GOP in the Senate.
