2020-07-14
[ToloNews] At least four security force members were killed and five others were maimed in a Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
attack in northern Parwan province on Sunday night, a security source said on Monday.

The festivities took place around 11:20 on Sunday night in Shenwari district after the Taliban attacked the security checkpoints, the source said.

"The festivities continued for nearly four hours and three other security forces are missing," the source said, adding that "four Taliban were also killed in the festivities."

The Taliban retreated after the attack and the situation is now controlled by the security forces, he added.

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
neither local security officials nor the Taliban have yet commented on the festivities.
