Duckworth to Block Promotions for 1,123 Military Officers Unless Esper Promotes Vindman
2020-07-04
[BREITBART] Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) announced Thursday that she would block the promotions of 1,123 senior military officers until Defense Secretary Mark Esper promises that he will promote Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who is believed to have communicated with the "whistleblower" that sparked Trump’s impeachment.
Lt. Col Sausage disparaged our country to furriners, admittedly went outside his chain of command and conspired to thwart CiC's policy to advance his own. He can get f*cked. So can she.
Her office called the move "unprecedented" but said it came in response to reports of "political interference in military matters" by Trump — the commander in chief.

The statement said Trump "may be seeking" to retaliate against Vindman for testifying against him. During the impeachment hearings, Vindman testified that he was listening to the call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and later talked about it to others — including an intelligence official believed to be the whistleblower.

Vindman notably showed up for his testimony in a military uniform that he was not required to wear. An Army front man confirmed that Vindman was only required to abide by the dress code of the NSC, where he wore civilian attire. The left praised Vindman as a hero.

#16  I seriously doubt one cock splash can block all those promotions.

How about they drag Tammy behind the ally and dumpster and have a little wall-to-wall counseling session with her?

#15  Vindman seems overdue for an overseas assignment. When was his last combat rotation?

#14  No, just an indictment of the officer promotion system.

#13  So is a fat promotion Vindman's payback for testifying? Just wondering...

#12  Ignore her silly election stunt. Submit the request and then frock all the folks who passed their PT test. After the election no one will care and the list will pass.

#10  Granted this is Washington..but how on earth does one Senator have the ability to block military promotions?

Yeah, how is that?

#9  Maybe the same way one Republican senator, a certain John McCain (RINO-AZ), voted against Obamacare repeal.

#6  Ditto P2k. I suspect no investigation was or will be conducted on this sheep dipped POS. He hasn't worked for the Army in many years. Too many US embassy assignments on his Officer Record Brief (ORB).

#5  Tailwind. You get what you tolerate. A Article 32 investigation should have been conducted on the man's conduct IAW the law and regulations. The chairborne warriors of the Military District Washington were more concerned about appearance rather than doing what the system called for. Now you get this.

We have too many generals per soldier than we had in WWII. The vast majority of the generals at that time were fighters not politicians. The ratio is now inverse to that. Too many uniform bureaucrats filling too many administrative 'commands.'

Not "unprecendented" at all! If Vindman is under official investigation, his personnel file is "FLAGGED." Favorable personnel actions are suspended for flagged files. A very routine action.

What's the lizzardly SOB's status? Is he under investigation? His file filed "flagged" for fat-boy program? No PT Test? Other reason(s) ?

#2  I'm sure Vindman's OER's are exemplary, so a promotion for Vindman should not be a concern.

#1  So she's going to interfere with promotions for political reasons?
