| Two Explosions in Mazar-e-Sharif, One Civilian Killed |

| [ToloNews] An Afghan civilian was killed after an IED explosion occurred in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of the northern province of Balkh, according to the police officials in the city. Ten others, including five civilians and five security force members, were maimed in the earth-shattering kaboom in PD3 of the city. According to Adel Shah Adel, a front man for the Balkh police force, the deputy inspector of PD3 cop shoppe, Ghulam Ali, has been maimed. Balkh police also said that there was a second explosion a few moments after the first which maimed 5 security personnel and five civilians. Balkh's health department meanwhile said that one dead body and ten maimed people have been transferred to the hospital and three are at death's door. |
