Couple points guns at protesters who marched to Mayor Krewson's home Sunday

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Hundreds of protesters chanted and marched to St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson's home Sunday night calling for her resignation.

The protesters, chanting "resign Lyda, take the cops with you," marched after Krewson read the names and addresses of demonstrators calling for police reform during a Friday afternoon Facebook Live video.

During the protest, a couple at a nearby home stepped outside with guns. Images and videos showed the woman pointing a handgun at the crowd. A man was seen holding a rifle.

The images and videos were shared thousands of times on social media Sunday night.

Protesters painted RESIGN on the street in front of Krewson's house Later in the night, protesters painted RESIGN on the street in front of the mayor's house.

So it turns out the gun-toting couple:

-Supports BLM
-Are Democrats
-Are representing a victim of police brutality.

#7 Saw the inside of the mansion they are protecting, quite a lavish mansion. You can clearly see why they are zealous in protecting their property and have every right to do so. The fundamental basis of civilization is the right to property and the root motives of all socialism is the abolishment of that.

#5 Portland Place is a tony, upscale community. I can see where a couple might want to make a show of force and draw some boundaries if they feel their lives are threatened. Things can be a little dicey at this point.
