Navy's two aircraft carriers do not have enough supply ships to keep them stocked with food and ammunition, experts warn
2020-06-27
[Daily Mail] The Royal Navy's two £6.4billion aircraft carriers do not have enough supply ships to keep them stocked with ammunition and food, the Whitehall spending watchdog has warned.

The Navy has just one vessel that can supply its biggest ever warships – the Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales – on operations, the National Audit Office said.

Three supply ships are 'crucial' in order for the force to operate, the damning report found.

#5  ...first problem occurred when the Russians successfully block their return route at the Battle of Maloyaroslavets which force the army to follow the already pillaged path they had taken to Moscow...problems skyrocketed when the first units came back to Smolensk which was depoted and looted all the rest of the army's supplies. Se la guerre.

#2  And what about fleet protection for the carriers? Without it supply ships are irrelevant when the carriers are sitting ducks.
