The Afghan Air Force reportedly carried out the airstrike in Dawlatabad district of Balkh province.
The sources further added that the Afghan Air Force targeted the Lions of Islam who had gathered in one of the local villages late on Wednesday night.

the local government officials and the Afghan military in the North rejected that the airstrike killed civilians, emphasizing that only Lions of Islam were killed in the raid.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the airstrike so far.
