  • Andres Guardado, 18, was working outside an autobody shop in Gardena in LA He allegedly noticed police patrolling the area and produced a handgun
    Why on earth did he do something so very stupid?
  • Officers approached him and drew their weapons, at which point Guardado fled

  • Deputies chased Guardado before one opened fire, striking his upper torso

  • His heartbroken sister wept as she told reporters: 'I lost a part of me, it's empty'

  • Guardado's death comes after riots swept across the US against police brutality

  • George Floyd, an unarmed black man, was killed after Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes last month

#14  'producing a handgun' is typical journalist weasel-wording. Did he point the gun at the officers? that's a threat. then say it. Did he just show them the gun, pulling up his shirt or something? another threat. Say it.

'producing a handgun' makes it sound like he wished a gun into existence.

The fact he had the a pistol is a Federal / State crime. So he was running because he was a THUG.
