#1 Sooner or later Trump is going to have to come to grips with the fact that Erdogan has moved from troublesome to dangerous. He has Hitler (Rhineland) and Mussolini (Libya) as older examples of Western pusillanimity, and the Russian occupation of Ukraine, as a more modern example. Would NATO respond to a Turkish attack on Greece? a Turkish attack on Cyprus? The Turkish denial of Exclusive Economic Zones in the Med? |
