| #1 Who knew going after violent thugs results in more violence than only chasing them if a beat policeman happens to see a crime in commission. It seems Conquest’s Third Law of Politics now applies to American law enforcement: The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies. |
