[Wash Times] Concealed carry regulations vary widely across the country. Guns & Ammo magazine looked at the most up-to-date laws in each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, and ranked the states from worst to first. Criteria included ease of acquiring a concealed carry permit, costs associated with licensure, training hours required and reciprocity with other states. |

#4 Alaska does not require residents to have concealed carry permits, but you can get one with background check and training, and then possessing it has lots of states with reciprocity. If you have a non resident or resident concealed carry permit for Washington State, it is much more restricted in reciprocity with other states. So an Alaska Concealed Carry Permit is much more accepted with other states than a Washington permit. |
